The online Ed.D. of Leadership in Higher Education is a 60-credit hour program designed to be completed in 39 months. The program curriculum includes eight core courses, five research courses, and seven concentration courses in a 7-week module format.
There are two concentrations – Higher Education and Leadership & Change. The Higher Education concentration focuses primarily on leading functions within traditional, institutionally based higher education. The Leadership & Change concentration focuses on talent development, training, corporate universities, and human resource development functions within organizations, government, and nonprofits. Tuition & Financing
At $55,920*, the online Ed.D. of Leadership in Higher Education is a smart investment. The skills learned in this program prepare you for career advancement in the growing field of higher education administration. Tuition includes all course fees but does not include books, comprehensive fee, or other course materials. Once accepted to the program, you are required to submit a $500 non-refundable deposit. Deposits are applied toward tuition and secure your place in the upcoming class.

How to Apply
We require all applicants for the Ed.D. of Leadership in Higher Education to hold a master's degree* from an accredited university. International applicants may be required to submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score to demonstrate English proficiency.
To start your application, follow these steps:
Contact an Enrollment Counselor to discuss your qualifications and interest in the program.
Provide your supplemental materials, including your resume, government-issued ID, letter of intent, two letters of recommendation, and official transcripts from all institutions attended.
The School of Human Development and Education at St. Edward's University uses a rolling admissions process to evaluate each candidate. Applicants should be expected to be contacted within two business days of their finalized application regarding next steps, and the Admissions Committee should make their decision within two weeks.
