Program Curriculum


The online M.S. in Accounting Analytics is a 30-credit hour program designed to be completed in only 16 months. The program curriculum features two specialization tracks to choose from, Audit and Financial Reporting.

Courses are a blend of live online sessions and asynchronous coursework, providing flexibility to students while still allowing them to get to know their classmates and grow their professional networks. All courses are taught by St. Edward’s University’s world class faculty who are committed to your success. All full-time faculty are CPAs with professional experience working in accounting, and all adjunct professors are currently employed in the field.

Students may select alternate electives from a mix of Accounting or MBA courses to meet individual state CPA exam requirements. Licensure requirements vary by state and students should consult with their state’s licensing boards.

Admission Requirements


Applicants for the online Master of Science in Accounting Analytics must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business from a regionally accredited college or university (or appropriate international equivalent). Students with a Business undergraduate degree may have additional prerequisite accounting courses.

The GMAT, GRE and/or other standardized admissions tests are not required. However, foreign applicants may be required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to demonstrate English language proficiency needed to successfully complete the program.

Supplementary materials for the application include your current resume, personal statement expressing your interest and goals for the program and transcripts from all institutions previously attended.
